If you’ve recently been told your “numbers are off” or received a formal Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) diagnosis, you probably left the doctor’s office with a stack of confusing paperwork and a lot of anxiety. You might be wondering, “What can I actually eat?” Welcome to Kidney Nutrition Notes. I’m so glad you’re here.

Why I Started This Blog
I’ve spent over 16 years as a Registered Dietitian, and for much of that time, I’ve specialized in Renal Nutrition. I’ve worked in dialysis clinics and worked one-on-one with patients at every stage of kidney disease.
What I’ve realized is that there is a massive gap between medical advice (“Eat less salt”) and real-life eating (“What do I order at a restaurant?”) I created this space to bridge that gap. My mission is to take the complex science of phosphorus, potassium, and protein and turn it into practical, delicious, and stress-free nutrition notes you can actually use.
What you can Expect Here
This isn’t just another health blog. As a Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition (CSR), I’m committed to providing evidence-based information that you can trust.
You Are Not Alone In This Journey
A CKD diangosis can feel solating, but it doesn’t have to be. Whether you are in Stage 3, Stage 4, or navigating life on dialysis, my goal is to empower you to take control of your health through nutrition.
I’m thrilled to start this journey with you! Every note I share here is designed to help you live a full, vibrant life while keeping your kidneys as healthy as possible.
Lets Stay Connected!
I don’t want this to be a one-way conversation! I want to here from you.
